Fall match play league
VCU Fall Match Play League is back for 2023! Join us as we explore the match-play format in our second season - all skill levels are welcome, especially newer players!
The VCU Fall Match Play League is a fun first league where you build bonds with other players, especially those on your team.
The league is meant to introduce match-play style disc golf targeted toward Recreational to Advanced level players. We aim to give everyone a fun and growth-oriented experience.
Competitive players will also find a home here, even though they aren't the main focus - we'll rely on them to mentor other players and be leaders on the course. Still, we'll also match them up against other experienced players for some exciting matches.
This will be a ‘Hat’ style league in which teams will be balanced and randomly constructed. All participants will be guaranteed a fair amount of playtime.
Unlike traditional overall stroke play, in match play, a pair of players or singles compete against each other in an effort to win each hole during the round. The player who wins more holes wins the match.

Play Style
Default Match Time: Sundays, 10 am
Matches will be a mixture of singles and doubles with variations on a week-by-week basis taking place at either Little Mountain DGC (Queen Elizabeth), Jericho, or Quilchena.
All players will be given an equal amount of playtime.

Cost: $30, plus the cost of a VCU membership if not a current member
