Introducing the VCU Fall Match Play League!
VCU would like to invite you to the first ever team match play league - all skill levels are welcome, especially newer players!The VCU Fall Match Play League is a fun first league where you build bonds with other players, especially those on your team.
The league is meant to be an introduction to match play style disc golf targeted towards Recreational to Advanced level players, however competitive players will find a home here too - we'll rely on them to mentor other players and be leaders on the course, but we'll also match them up against other experienced players for some exciting matches.
This will be a ‘Hat’ style league in which teams will be balanced and randomly constructed. All participants will be guaranteed a fair amount of play time. For more information on the match play format, check out the PDGA website.
Matches will be held on Sundays from September 26th - December 12th, 2021 at all three Vancouver courses. This league has a limit of 48 players, and registration closes on Sunday September 12th at midnight, so make sure to become a VCU member and register before it’s too late! To register, fill out the Registration Form by midnight of September 12th.
